Growing up with a fascination for cinema and its history, Dfernando Zaremba found himself studying Cinematography and Film History in college. With this background, he entered the film industry working on major television and film projects before branching out to include the fashion photography industry. In 2012 he began his fashion career working extensively assisting top fashion photographers and wardrobe and prop stylists on high fashion editorials that have been seen in numerous issues of VOGUE, ELLE, HARPER'S BAZAAR, GQ and CR FASHION BOOK and countless top international fashion campaigns and catalogues.
Upon beginning his career in the fashion industry, his industry peers quickly realized that his almost authoritative knowledge of fashion photography history as well as his cinematic and pop culture references and ideas were well suited in a more collaborated involvement, especially in high fashion editorials. He was soon being asked to suggest, create and direct editorial concepts which is how he organically began his career as an Art Director.
His clean minimal aesthetic editorial Art Direction can be seen in various publications from: i-D Magazine, Paper Magazine, Flaunt Magazine, King Kong Magazine, Vulture Magazine, WWD, Schön Magazine, Fucking Young! Magazine, Bullett Magazine to models.com as well as his work with Baja East.
Dfernando Zaremba is based in NYC.
